ABOUT LAB (LOCUST ARTS BUILDERS)
Little LAB stems from Locust Projects' annual LAB program, which revolves around a collaborative group exhibition by South Florida high school students. 2014 marked the 5th year of the program and will include 25 students, slected through an open call. Under the direction of practicing contemporary visual artists Monica Lopez de Victoria of the TM Sisters and Loriel Beltran, students were given the opportunity to create a collaborative exhibition in a public venue and manage all aspects of its production during the three week summer intensive. Students also visited art institutions on guided field trips and interacted with members of the local art community during scheduled visits.

LAB graduates will be Little LAB artist mentors for the day.
