TORONTO – Canada’s largest food and wine event is back for its 19th year!

The annual Gourmet Food & Wine Expo will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from November 14-17.

“This year is all about the hottest trends,” said Jennifer Campbell, Show Manager of the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo. “we will offer the latest trends in food, cocktails, beer and of course wine. With over 1,500 different wines, spirits and beers from around the world, there’s always something new to explore at the Expo.”

New to the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo this year will be the TrendCentral Tasting Stage; a special area on the show floor that will showcase the current and upcoming beer, wine and cocktail trends. The trends will include:

1 -  kingofgrapes: an international tasting of Cabernets by winewire.ca,

2 -  Beer101: delicious trends in beer infused with modern beer culture by Granville Island and Creemore Springs,

3 - drinkbetterwine with a tasting of ultra-premium varietals by Trialto Wine Group

4 - StartwithACaesar will offer hot trends for this classic cocktail hosted by the amazing Clint Pattemore – Canada’s foremost Caesar expert!

Be in the know and taste for yourself at the TrendCentral Tasting Stage.

Celebrity chef Roger Mooking, a judge on the television show Chopped Canada, will be on hand at the Expo showing off his signature style at the Food Network Stage. Mooking has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Iron Chef America, Top Chef Canada, The Marilyn Denis Show, Martha Stewart Radio, and many others. Don’t miss him Friday November 15th at 6:30pm

In addition to Mooking, the Expo will also feature well known wine experts that will be hosting Tutored Tastings wine classes. Kevin Brauch, Christopher Waters, John Szabo, Angela Aiello, Gordon Stimmell and many others, will be leading exclusive Tutored Tastings Wine educational sessions in break out rooms held concurrently during with the Expo.

Tutored Tastings Tickets include an Elite Pass valid for VIP entry into the Expo any one day - $50 value.
