This year Vinitaly flies to Canada.

Veronafiere and Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) have teamed up with ICE-Italian Trade Agency in Toronto and two of the leading Canadian Monopolies, Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NFLC), to bring Canada Roadshow Executive Seminars to cities in Eastern Canada.

The Canada Roadshow Executive Seminars 2018  will be the very first introduction in Eastern Canada to VIA’s educational and outreach program.

VIA Italian Wine Expert Michaela Morris has been chosen to lead the Executive Seminars which will be addressed for the first time not only to trade professionals, but also to consumers and wine lovers, therefore providing them with the opportunity to taste both classic and lesser-known Italian wines.

Michaela Morris, who is one of the 162 VIA-certified Ambassadors and Experts in the world, works as a wine writer, educator and presenter.

For the first time, the Vinitaly International Academy's Seminars will be held in:

Ottawa (Ontario), November 5th

2.00 pm - 3.30 pm, Event reserved to trade professionals, Seminar: “10 of Italy’s Most Exciting Native Grapes”

7.00 pm - 9:30 pm, Event reserved to trade professionals, Seminar:  "Italy’s Native Grapes"

Halifax (Nova Scotia), November 7th

3.00 pm - 4.30 pm, Event reserved to trade professionals

7.00 pm - 8.30 pm, Consumer event, Seminar: "Discover più intriganti of Italy"

St. John's (Newfoundland), November 8th

14:00 - 16:00, Event reserved to trade professionals, Seminar: “Classics and Classics in the Making: An in-depth look at Italy’s flag bearing wines and the indigenous grapes behind them"

19:00 - 20:30, Consumer event, Seminar: "Italy off the Beaten Path: Discovering Italy beyond Pinot Grigio and Chianti"
